College Memories

College Final Year Vibes Engineering Life MITTiansForever

As I sit down to pen my memories of the final days at Maharaja Institute of Technology Thandavapura (MITT), I can’t help but feel a rush of nostalgia. College life was nothing short of a rollercoaster, a mix of highs and lows, laughter and tears, chaos and calm. From the first day when everything felt so fresh and new, to those final moments when we were reluctant to leave, it was a journey that shaped us in more ways than we realized.

The first year was all about exploration. We were wide-eyed freshmen, excited about college life and eager to make friends. Everything seemed rosy—meeting new people, bunking classes for the first time, and enjoying those carefree lunch breaks filled with endless chatter. But as semesters rolled on, reality started to hit. By the middle of college, life was nothing less than a battlefield. Assignments piled up, project deadlines loomed, and tests seemed to come out of nowhere. Group projects often turned into chaos, and let’s not even talk about getting scolded by professors for late submissions or forgetting to prepare for viva sessions!

However, somewhere around the 6th semester, something magical happened. We learned to embrace the chaos. The struggles started to feel worth it, and the friendships grew deeper. Those long nights in the hostel, pretending to study but ending up laughing over the silliest things, became moments we would cherish forever. The excitement of cultural fests, sneaking out for chai during boring lectures, and those impromptu cricket matches made every day feel special.

The final year was bittersweet. On one hand, we were thrilled to be so close to the finish line, but on the other, the realization that we’d soon be parting ways hit hard. The 8th semester was pure gold—those final moments of fun, pulling all-nighters to complete projects, and celebrating the smallest victories. Our classroom turned into a second home, with everyone coming together to help each other out in times of crisis.

Looking back, those days at MITT were truly unforgettable. The ups and downs, the scoldings from teachers (which we laugh about now), and the stress of project submissions—all of it made us who we are today. If I could relive those final moments, I would, without a second thought. To MITT and all my friends there, thank you for the memories.
